Morgane, a JBHM ballet dancer, performing her free ballet variation during the International Ballet Contest held in Aix en Provence, South of France, in 2008. She achieved 2nd in the superior category.
Jeune Ballet of Montpellier and Hérault (JBMH, translated in Montpellier and Herault Young Ballet) founded by Fabienne DELORME and Fabrice MINEAU, with the aim of offering young dancers the stage experience, is now highly recognized.
Fabienne DELORME and Fabrice MINEAU were born in 1959.
For 17 years, they have ininterruptibly been dancers and choregraphers, and met all steps of ballet dancing. They fastly became demi solists, then solist within several differents theatres and ballet companies (the most recent beeing the Bordeaux Scene, from 1990 to 1994). During their ballet time, they both had the opportunity to meet highly ballet and dance skilled people.
Some of their teachers were :
Wladimir Skouratoff, First Ballet Dancer at the Marquis de Cuevas Ballet, international choregrapher,
paolo Bortoluzzi, International Danseur Etoile and choregrapher for the Bordeaux scene.
Fabienne DELORME and Fabrice MINEAU are both State Ballet diplomed since 1991, have decided to stop performing after working with the most known dance professionnals, then decided to share their knowledge. They are at the head of Montpellier Ballet Dance since 1997, and inspire the work of the Jeune Ballet de Montpellier et de l'Hérault.
